Cheryl Batalon Fambles has served as Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council (PacMtn) since 2012.  Cheryl previously held executive and senior positions in the Washington Workforce Association and in local government agencies including King County, Thurston County, the City of Issaquah, and the Skokomish Tribal Nation.  Her consulting work has been diverse and includes community, organizational and infrastructure projects. She completed a master’s degree in public administration from City University of New York, and is a graduate of the Senior Executives in Local Government Program JFK School of Public Service at Harvard.  She received her undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College.   In January 2017 Cheryl was appointed as a Board Director for the Seattle Branch of the San Francisco Reserve Bank.  She serves on the Thurston County Chamber and the Governor’s WA Military Transition Council.  Cheryl is an articulate advocate for rural communities, issues of poverty and inequity and the redemptive power of work and quality employment.

Bridget has been in various roles in the workforce development system since 2006. Currently as the Director of Finance & Administrative Services she oversees the financial integrity, budget management, grant and contract compliance and human resource functions of the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Management and Information Technology from Central Washington University.

Corinne is proud to be a part of the PacMtn team and is responsible for the development and management of workforce programs.  Corinne has experience managing state and federal workforce programs such as the State Work-Study Program and the Senior Community Service and Employment Program.  Corinne also has had extensive involvement in serving special populations such as youth, seniors and individuals with disabilities with employment training.  Corinne graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a B.S. in Sociology and an M.S. in Criminal Justice.  Corinne currently lives in Olympia with her daughter and dog.  Corinne and her daughter both love what the entire PacMtn region has to offer, especially the hiking!

Stacey Anderson is the Program Manager for Youth and Specialized Populations at Pacific Mountain WDC.  She began her career in Workforce Development in 1986 under the JTPA Legislation. She began her career at VADIS offering workforce development services to individuals with disabilities. She has been with Pacific Mountain since 2010 providing workforce development services for the Heroes at Home 2 and Camo2Commerce programs on JBLM and recently managed the Journey2Jobs Program.  She was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and has a BA Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Western Washington University, an MA Degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University and a Career Technical Education Teaching Certificate in Workbased Learning/Diversified Occupations.  Stacey is a Certified Workforce Development Professional through the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals. Stacey currently lives in Olympia with her husband.

Jaire is a strong leader, father, Veteran, confidant, mentor, and advocate.

After serving four years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer, Jaire pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership at Faith Evangelical College & Seminary. Since then, Jaire has had the privilege and honor to wear many different hats such as life strategist, inspirational speaker, advisor, mentor, coach, and leadership development consultant with a number of organizations.

Standing tall at 6’8” provides Jaire with a “bird’s-eye-view” perspective to identify solutions to complex problems. Working with diverse populations, be it youth, adults, athletes, or Veterans, Jaire believes everyone has the capability to be great through the recognition of purpose and the perfection of each individual’s unique talents and abilities.

Jaire’s extensive experience in the U.S. military, professional sports, formal training, and working with individuals as well as organizations, will aid his unmatched work ethic and dedication, to leverage his perceptive people skills and strategic visioning, to complement the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council, and the MyJob Program.)

Sean Murphy | Associated Director of Sector Strategies & Innovation

Sean came to PacMtn in 2013 as the Business and Community Engagement Manager.  In 2014, he was promoted to lead Camo2Commerce, which is a $8.06 million grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.  To date the program has placed over 900 servicemembers upon transition into employment, at an average hourly rate of over $26 per hour.  Under his leadership, the program has developed programs such as the Corporate Fellowship Program, now managed nationally by Hiring Our Heroes, and other career pathways programs that have successfully placed servicemembers into IT, Aerospace, Apprenticeship/Construction, Law Enforcement, and many other fields.

He has since been promoted to be the Associated Director of Sector Strategies & Innovation.  Prior to working with PacMtn, Sean worked for Governor Christine Gregoire, U.S. Congressman Brian Baird, and U.S. Senator Patty Murray.  In his most recent role before coming to PacMtn, he was the Executive Director for a multi-state trade association. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University, and is currently completing his Executive MBA from Cornell University.

Vince Kueter |Research and Data Analyst

Vince joined the PacMtn team as the Research and Data Analyst in October 2016.  He has over 25 years of experience as a professional researcher at organizations such as the Seattle Times, Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, SEIU Healthcare 1199NW, the Washington Lottery, Gordon Thomas Honeywell  and the United Auto Workers.  He has a Masters in Information Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College.  His skill set includes multivariate statistical analysis, financial analysis of organizations, labor market economic analysis, impact analysis of regulatory and statutory changes, multi-option policy recommendations and authoring research reports.

The prevailing theme of his career has been to combine the technical skills of a data analyst with the interpretive skills of a strategic and policy analyst to support informed, evidence-based decision-making.  He’s looking forward to finding the stories that our workforce development numbers have to tell.

Mike Johnson |Program Director – Camo2Commerce

Mike Johnson is currently the Program Director for the Camo2Commerce program located at Joint Base Lewis McChord. He is a retired Army Officer with over 35 years of service, which include assignments at the National Guard Bureau, U.S. Embassy Iraq, and various positions with the Washington Army National Guard.

Colonel (retired) Johnson is a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Army War College with an MA in Strategic Studies and holds an MBA from City University and a BA from Eastern Washington University. He was born in Spokane Washington and currently resides in Steilacoom Washington with his wife Donna.  The Johnsons have three grown children and eight grandchildren.

Vanessa works in the Executive Office as Administrative Assistant to Pacific Mountain’s Chief Executive Officer, Cheryl Fambles.  She also provides support for the Pacific Mountain Board of Directors, the Consortium, the Executive Finance Team as well as Pacific Mountain’s Committees and Task Forces. Vanessa is graduate from The Evergreen State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and has worked for Western Institutional Review Board providing executive support to the Board of Directors, Chief Compliance Officer and other members of the Executive team. Vanessa lives in Mason county with her husband and three children.

Julie is responsible for PacMtn’s accounting activities that include processing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She is also responsible for grant management and HR functions within the organization. Julie has over 20 years of experience in accounting and holds a diploma in Business Management and Accounting from Trend Business College.

Jaime is thrilled to be part of PacMtn as the Senior Accounting Specialist.  She recently moved with her family from the Tri-Cities where she worked for Kennewick Irrigation District as the Senior Accountant.  She earned her degree from Michigan State University in Human Resources with an emphasis in Business and an additional major in Psychology.  Currently, she is enrolled at Post University to earn her degree in Accounting.  Throughout her career, she has established herself as an exceptionally successful and effective accounting professional. Her interest in accounting has taken her from assisting staff with their accounting needs to maintaining accurate ledgers and financial systems. She has also worked in diverse and varying backgrounds.  Jaime is married with three daughters and has had the luxury of living all over the country.  She is a diehard Michigan State Spartans fan!  Go Green!
